Waygrove is an AI-powered career platform for F1, OPT, STEM OPT, and H-1B students navigating the U.S. job market. We exist because the existing job search tools weren't built with our reality in mind — and someone had to fix that.
International students don't just need jobs — they need jobs that fit their visa, on a timeline that fits their OPT clock. Generic platforms ignore both. We don't.
Make the U.S. job search transparent, personalized, and accessible for international students — by surfacing real H-1B sponsorship data, building AI tools that actually understand visa constraints, and centering the user's timeline, not the employer's.
A future where every international student in the U.S. finds a sponsored role without rolling the dice — where visa status is a known variable, not a guessing game, and where the path from F1 to OPT to H-1B is clear from day one.
Both of our founders are international students in the U.S. We've sat through CPT paperwork, calculated OPT day-counts, applied to roles that pretended to be "open" but quietly rejected anyone needing sponsorship, and refreshed USCIS data hub pages at midnight trying to figure out which companies actually hire people like us.
The existing job platforms don't understand this experience. They treat visa status as a checkbox at the end of a 40-question application. They have no idea what STEM OPT means, when the H-1B lottery happens, or why a "remote-friendly" job that requires authorization is, for us, not actually open.
Waygrove started as a personal tool — a way to track which roles we should and shouldn't apply to. Then we realized other students had the exact same gap. So we built it for everyone.
We use real USCIS records — not synthetic averages or aggregator estimates. If we don't know, we say so.
Every feature here has been used by international students before it shipped. We test on ourselves.
The job search shouldn't have a paywall. Core features stay free during the public beta — and likely beyond.
Orin rewrites your resume — it does not invent experience. We won't add fake metrics, fake titles, or fake skills.
